PRESS RELEASE: SOUTH BEND, IN May 5, 2020: C2 Your Health Women's Initiative Inc. joins the global day giving Tuesday, May 5th, #GivingTuesdayNow, in response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19 to help struggling minority women-owned entrepreneur micro-businesses by launching  #LeadingBossLadies Lead the Way #GivingTuesdayNow Scholarship Campaign.

C2YH Women’s Initiative needs your help to provide mentoring scholarships to struggling minority women-owned entrepreneur micro-businesses are more vulnerable and hardest hit in this economic crisis.   

Every dollar you give toward this project today will be matched 1:1.

C2YH Women's Initiative supports struggling women entrepreneurs from low income neighborhoods fostering leadership potential by providing mentoring, education, resources and inspire dreaming big and focus on next step thinking to success. To provide women entrepreneur mentoring we rely on corporate sponsorships, fundraising, and donations through our 2 big annual events, the 2020 Expo for Women Healthy. Wealthy. Wise. and Women's Entrepreneur Summit Round Tables for Success.

Due to the COVID-19 quarantine both of these events are not able to support mentoring scholarships. Before the projected pending recession, the failure rate of women entrepreneur startups was 70% without mentoring. Paralyzed by the economic stress of COVID-19 many more women entrepreneur businesses are closing their doors. To reverse this, they need mentoring support.

SCORE reported repeated mentoring increases business success by 43%. C2YH Women's Initiative mentoring program recorded 63% improvement demonstrating mentoring is making a huge impact in our community.

You can help by donating to our #LeadingBossLadies Lead the Way scholarship campaign helping struggling women minority owned entrepreneurs to access at no cost the much-needed mentoring, business skills, knowledge, peer connections and experts.

Our goal is to provide 50 mentoring scholarships for minority women-owned entrepreneur micro-businesses in 2020. These goals can only be accomplished with your help!
