Celebrating International Women's Day 2023 While Hanging Out at Home

 

In case you don't know, International Women's Day March 8th every year. IWD is a United Nations-sanctioned global holiday that celebrates women's contributions to society, raises awareness about the fight for gender parity, and inspires support for individuals, and organizations that help women locally, nationally and globally.

International Women's Day continues to remind us of the importance of women and how much we owe them our lives. This day is intended to honor the women in our lives by spoiling them with things they enjoy.

Have a movie party: For yourself or with a few friends watch female-centric movies.

Read a book: Organize a book club, inspirational books for women.

Listen to a podcast: Women inspired empowering podcasts 

Virtual event: Participate in a woman empowerment virtual event on March 8th.

Social media: Share articles, videos, and personal stories that promote gender equality and celebrate the accomplishments of women. Use hashtags such as #IWD2023, #InternationalWomensDay, and #ChooseToChallenge to show solidarity with the movement.
