Celebrate Local Giving: Empowering Women Founders on #GivingTuesdaySheLeads
What is #GivingTuesday All About? Let’s Dive In!
At C2 Your Health Women’s Initiative Inc., we’ve been proud to be part of this incredible movement for the past six years, bringing the spirit of giving alive in the South Bend and Mishawaka areas. This year, we’re taking it up a notch with our 2024 SheLeads Campaign (#GivingTuesdaySheLeads). And here’s the exciting part: we’re putting the spotlight on 10 amazing women-founded nonprofits that are transforming lives and strengthening our community in remarkable ways.
Wondering who? Follow us on Instagram or Facebook! The campaign runs between November 28th and December 3rd.
Because it’s not just about big donations or grand gestures (though those are
awesome too!). It’s about every little act of generosity—making someone smile,
lending a hand to a neighbor or stranger, supporting a cause you’re passionate
about, or sharing what you can with someone in need. Every single action adds
up to create a better world.
Now, more than ever, our communities need us to show up for them. By supporting local nonprofits, mutual aid networks, and community organizers, you’re not just giving back—you’re helping build a brighter, stronger future for everyone.
Stay tuned as we celebrate these inspiring women leaders and share how you can be part of this empowering journey. Let’s come together this #GivingTuesday and prove that every act of kindness makes a difference!
Ready to join us? Start here:
1. Fostering a Sense of Community:
Charitable
giving helps build stronger, more connected communities. By supporting local
nonprofits, you are investing in the well-being and prosperity of your
neighbors, friends, and family members. This sense of shared purpose and
collective effort can lead to a more supportive and resilient community.
2. Promoting Philanthropic Values:
#GivingTuesday
is an excellent opportunity to promote the values of generosity and empathy,
especially to younger generations. Engaging children and young adults in
charitable activities instills the importance of giving back and helps them
develop a lifelong commitment to philanthropy.
3. Tax Benefits:
Donations to
qualifying charitable organizations are often tax-deductible. By participating
in #GivingTuesday, you can support causes you care about while also potentially
reducing your taxable income.
4. Boosting Emotional Well-being:
Numerous
studies have shown that giving to others can enhance your overall sense of
happiness and well-being. The act of donating time, money, or resources can
provide a deep sense of satisfaction and fulfillment, knowing that you are
making a positive difference in someone else's life.
Since our inception, C2 Your Health Women's Initiative has been dedicated to increasing awareness of local giving. We believe that by highlighting the efforts of women-founded nonprofits, we can inspire more individuals to support these vital organizations.
