The focus of the Women's Entrepreneur Summit is to connect high school students, college women and women from low-income neighborhoods and domestic violence environments who are aspiring, new startups, struggling, seasoned, and successful entrepreneurs together with role models, mentors, community leaders, business resources, and confidence-building activities.
With 21 distinguished speakers hailing from the heart of Michiana and representing community leaders and trailblazing women entrepreneurs, the summit proved to be a beacon of motivation and empowerment for the attendees. From insightful discussions to shared experiences, the event resonated with the theme of forging paths to success in the world of entrepreneurship.
The beautiful conference room at Rio Park Events was packed with a remarkable turnout demonstrating the widespread enthusiasm for the summit, showcasing the hunger for knowledge and networking opportunities among aspiring and established women entrepreneurs alike. The event's success was further magnified by the presence of community resource exhibitors, providing valuable insights and support to fuel the participants' entrepreneurial journeys.
A notable feature of the summit was the substantial contribution of 37 Women Entrepreneur Summit scholarships, a benevolent act poised to create a lasting influence on the lives and ambitions of women engaged in business in the Michiana area. This philanthropic endeavor underscores the unwavering dedication of the women in our community, organizers, and sponsors to championing inclusivity and providing steadfast support for women entrepreneurs in their quest for success.

When Cindy Cohen, Founder of C2 Your Health Women's Initiative, addressed the audience and posed the question of "What is the next step?" she emphatically declared, "It's time to begin enrolling in the C2YHWI WomeMoveForward Women Entrepreneur Excellence mentoring, course, and certification, which begins in January 2024." This call to action adds another layer to the summit's impact, providing a tangible pathway for women entrepreneurs to further hone their skills and knowledge.
