South Bend, IN — October 30, 2022 – Cindy Cohen, founder of C2 Your Health Women’s Initiative Inc., (South Bend, IN} and Ylonda Scott, owner of Ylonda Scott’s Retreat Business (Niles, MI} announced today the winners of the Women-Owned Small Business Recognition in celebration of National Women-Owned Small Business month. This is the 5^th Anniversary Celebration of this incredible award recognition highlighting the women who are small business owners, who stand above the rest due to their commitment to not only their business, making a community impact with all they do in the community.

 

All month long C2 Your Health Women's Initiative Inc. and Ylonda Scott's Retreat Business have been giving SHOUT-OUTS to what we as a community can do to support Women-Owned Small Business in the Michiana community.

Women Owned Small Business 2022 award recognizes, provides advocacy, support and rewards women business owners and entrepreneurs who excel at business building, problem solving, overcoming adversity, and giving back to her community. Each woman was evaluated based on their community impact where they live and the number of votes their received.

Recognizing the contribution of small business owners is central to October National Small Business Month. It the 5 years Cindy Cohen, C2 Your Health Women’s Initiative Inc. and Ylonda Scott, Ylonda Scott’s Retreat Business have come together since 2017 they has celebrated 47 women small business owners for their outstanding business achievements and community giving activities in Indiana and Michigan. Each participant is nominated and voted to be on the 2022 Women-Owned Small Business recognition list. There was a nominee and voting process and named by the C2YHWI community board. The nominee who received the most votes is recognized.
