Press Release: Elkhart Mayor Scheduled to Stop by the 1st Speed Networking Event for Women

Elkhart, Indiana February 20, 2023. C2 Your Health Women’s Initiative Inc. is partnering with Michiana Women Rise, a new Elkhart group, and will host a speed networking event.  Women who own a business, lead a business, are entrepreneurs and women who would like to be inspired by or do business with women have been invited to attend the Speed Networking for Women event from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, at The Brass Elk, 333 Nibco Park way, Elkhart, IN. Tickets are $10 in advance.

Speed networking is in a tiny way like speed dating, organizers said, except that in speed dating, if all goes well, you leave with a dinner date. With speed networking, you leave with new business connections.

To effectively manage your career, you must have ample professional connections. However, regardless of the immense availability of various social media plat forms, there is still a need for meeting people face-to face to create really meaningful connections. A speed networking event gives a person access to numerous individuals in different fields,says speednetworking.com

During the evening there will be Speed Networking, inspiring women stories, plus a presentation Women Entrepreneurship Proclamation signed by Mayor Rod Roberson in joining the global movement setting aside November 19th recognizing the women entrepreneurs in Elkhart plus the Mayor will be stopping by.
